Welcome to The VitaLife Newsletter!
How many times have you told yourself “today’s the day?” How many times, like so many others, have you decided that you would finally tackle procrastination once and for all, only to find yourself scrolling through your social media feed hours later with zero grasp as to how much time had elapsed since you sat yourself down to get work done? Chances are, quite a few.
You may have skimmed through YouTube videos desperate for potential solutions, as videos describing obscure frameworks like the Pomodoro technique, chunking, and “eat the frog” (no, I didn’t make this up) only make you more overwhelmed.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed with life’s emerging demands, which only seem to grow as you progress through your education. Priorities (as you may have discovered) are hard to make sense of.
Who are you?
I’m Brandon Winecki, an 18-year-old undergraduate student studying at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Throughout my high school career, I’ve been fascinated by psychology, neuroscience, spirituality, and the many ways humans can adapt their lifestyle to become the best version of themselves.
As I’ve personally battled with procrastination, demotivation, anxiety, burnout, job searching, and, probably the most terrifying of all, college applications, I’ve searched for the best tools I can use to surpass these many hurdles.
VitaLife is my way of sharing the knowledge I’ve accumulated through years of research and mentorship to those looking to boost their productivity, find meaning, and achieve a balanced lifestyle.
